Hellschreiber Each track has something different to offer, with a variety of musical approaches being utilised, yet the album holds together perfectly, with a coherent sci-fi theme and ambiance running through it all. This album is definitely worth checking out if you’re wanting to explore drone music in general, or are looking to discover some new musicians to follow. Wonderful stuff!

Marco Zonta Another gem compilation from Eight Tower Records, spacial drones in dark outer space, hypnotic and distorted echoes in a deep and far dimension. I love how each artist with his own peculiarity, perfectly matches the plot, creating a varied but coherent travel in the unknown. All the tracks match my tastes, difficult to choose one. Favorite track: Nihil Impvlse - At The Springs Of Void.

Drone Islands: Stellar is somewhat of an International Space Station of talent, featuring artists from across the world (including, to name just three, India, Hungary, and Mexico), creating drones of an astronomical nature, and showcasing their particular talents. The various approaches the contributors take to create a piece that fits the concept firmly dismisses the argument that drone music is all the same – just a series of minimalist, sustained notes.
